1 So – You want to learn how to put an article onto the state website. (Note: If you have not done so, you will need to review the web training provided by the webmaster. One problem noted so far is that you must be in the 32 bit mode in Internet Explorer 9 if you are using IE9 in Windows 7 or a 64 bit computer. When you go to the webpage, you will be instructed to download JAVA 7. The current Update is 13. JAVA takes about 3-5 minutes to completely install. Then you will be able to watch the Web training. 2 All Officers and select Chairmen have contributor roles to place articles on the State Website. Let’s begin on the next page. TEK2013

3 So – You want to learn how to put an article onto the state website. (Note: If you have not done so, please review the web training provided by the webmaster. This slideshow is supplemental to the web training. Let’s begin on the next page. TEK2013

4 Go to USER LOGIN and type in your USER NAME and PASSWORD. (For this example we will use Welfare as the username) TEK2013

5 Ensure you use the correct USERNAME and PASSWORD as given by the Webmaster. Note: The USERNAME is WELFARE in this example. TEK2013

6 The next thing you need to do is to click on the ADD CONTENT tab. This will take you to the screen where you can place your article.

7 TEK2013 This is where you will be doing your work. You will give your article a title and then a tag. See the next screen.

8 TEK2013 Here is the area for writing your title.

9 TEK2013 Next, you will need to give your article a TAG so that it will go to the correct area of the web. Note: Your article will automatically be placed on the main screen, but the TAG also tell the web which Officer, Chairman or contributor area to also place the article.

10 TEK2013 If you want the article to be in the NEWS tab on the home screen (Front Page), then you need to click on that tab.

11 TEK2013 Once you enter the title and tag it, you need to enter the article material in the large white space.

12 TEK2013 After you have written your article, you need to scroll down to the bottom and select SAVE to save your work. This will then take you to the Front Page, where you article will appear.

13 TEK2013 You will be able to find your report on either the Front Page or under the Officer/Contributor’s tab i.e. Welfare tab for welfare and Publicity tab for publicity.

14 TEK2013 Look under the Navigation tab and you will see the Welfare tab where you will find the 2 nd copy of your completed article (Front Page being the first area).

15 TEK2013 Here we see the report.
