3 1 , Beam orbit stability is very important for accelerator. 2 , For HEPS, the smallest beam size is 3um, so the resolution of BPM should be 0.1µm , the beam orbit stability will reach to 0.3um. 3 , Libera brilliance of Instrumentation Technologies are used in many accelerators. But it is expensive, so we want to manufacture by ourselves. 3 Why we do it?

4 4 We take microTcA.4 as the architecture , which includes analog electronics-RTM ( Rear Transition Module ) and digital signal processing module-AMC ( Advanced Mezzanine Card )。 The important work includes software work and hardware work, we do them at the same to save the time. software : 1 , bunch by bunch diagnostic tool based on BEECube platform can verify signal processing algorithm. 2 , To buy some commercial hardware based on microTcA, on which software work will be done. hardware : 1 , to design and manufacture the analog module and digital module, then transfer the software to it. 15 How many time we need? From now on, Do you think 5 years are enough for us to design and manufacture a mature digital electronics that can be used in HEPS(high energy photon source). There are 4 people for digital BPM electronics, one is for analog part, one is for digital part, one is for FPGA software development, one is for EPICS device and control interface. Pls give me your advice and comments for the design and the time consuming. I will write them on the paper and request you to sign.
