3 3 Dry-erase surface products are traditionally identified with large hardware style “whiteboards” in permanent wall applications. Dry-erase “boards” tend to be costly, lack portability and are not viewed as a consumable product. They also lack versatility and are not recommended for use with permanent, non-permanent wet-erase markers, pens and cleaners.

These developments have lead to a variety of new dry-erase products that will change the way we use dry-erase and permanent imaging in the future. These developments represent a new category of “consumable” dry-erase products that are inexpensive, versatile, easy to use, extremely portable, reusable, disposable and have broad customer appeal.

6 6 Present Dry-Erase and Permanent Market All Products Estimated 2004 US sales of dry-erase related products is between $ 177 to $ 200MM. Markers (various types), erasers, cleaners and accessories will make up over 65% of the overall sales. Currently there are very few “consumable” and “disposable” dry-erase surface imaging products on the market.

7 7 Present and Future Dry-Erase & Permanent Marker Markets 2004/2005 projected annual growth of dry-erase related products is 22+ %. Markers, erasers, cleaners and accessories will continue to grow at a faster rate than durable whiteboard products. In the future new “consumable” and “semi- permanent” dry-erase surface imaging products will be used as replacement products traditional whiteboards. Mark-it products are being introduced into a growing and well established dry-erase and permanent marker categories in multiple channels.

9 9 General Product Design Features All Mark-it Self-Stick, Dry-Erase paper and film products can be used with any dry-erase or wet-erase markers/pens, permanent and non-permanent markers, cleaning agents or erasers. Both paper and film surfaces deliver exceptional dry-erase performance, regardless of the marker or pen used. Sanford Expo, Sharpie, BIC and other markers; as well as Crayola water-based children’s markers work great on all Mark-it products.

10 10 General Product Design Features All Mark-it products have a pressure sensitive, self-stick adhesive backing that adheres to most clean, dry surfaces. Release film backing is clearly identified in blue for ease in identifying, removal and application to surface. It also communicates superior product quality. All products can be applied, removed or repositioned at any time.

11 11 Product Design Features Paper Products Mark-it Self-Stick, Dry-Erase Paper products are identified with the RED logo and are more suited for temporary, portable or limited repeated use. Paper Products are available in various sheet sizes, rolls and specialty converted items. Price points for the paper are designed for sales to a broad range of end users, distributors and customer applications.

12 12 Product Design Features White Film Products Mark-it White Dry-Erase Film products are identified with the Blue logo and are designed for permanent or semi-permanent applications. White Dry-Erase Film is more durable than the paper products and are designed as a substitute or replacement for more expensive whiteboards. White Film is also ideal for resurfacing of existing worn out “whiteboards” and retrofitting of existing obsolete or damaged chalkboards.

14 14 Paper Easel Pads General Product Information Mark-it Self-Stick, Dry-erase Easel Pads work great with standard easel stands, three post easel stands and two and three post chalkboard hanging strips. They offer the customer the combined convenience of a traditional paper easel pad with that of a reusable dry-erase, self-stick surface. Mark-it easel pads turn any easel, wall, door, table top or smooth surface into a dry-erase board.

15 15 Paper Easel Pads General Product Information Mark-it easel sheets have a heavy duty adhesive strip that sticks to most clean, smooth surfaces. Sheets can be applied, removed and reapplied much like a 3M Post-it easel pad paper sheet and other adhesive backed easel pad sheets. Pads are designed to take advantage of the millions of existing users of dry- erase and permanent markers that currently use easel pads or dry-erase boards.

16 16 Paper Easel Pads Features & Benefits Mark-it Easel Pads are available in 25” x 30” size and a 20” x 24” (New item 102) tabletop model. Both have ten sheets per pad. Adhesive strips stay put on most surfaces without the use of additional tape, pins or adhesives. Mark-it’s high quality, dry-erase surface resists ghosting and will last for months delivering a unique and economical alternative to traditional paper easel pads.
