7 & PRACTICE! INFORMATIONAL INTERVIEWS A Starbucks coffee could get you a job! Anatomy of an informational interview. Be prepared! Research who you want to meet. Practice Scenario: You are having an informational interview with a PAC Director of a policy issue that you’re passionate about. What are the main questions you have for him or her?

8 & PRACTICE! MASTERING EVENTS How to make Hill events work for you. Get fed and get a job. Scout and research who you want to meet. Practical eating and drinking tips…and so much more. Event Scenario: You attend a State of the Union watch party on the Hill with Senate staffers. What’s the type of questions you’d ask them? And what’s your next steps.

9 & BE A HUSTLER Make an ask!!! Then ask who else you should talk with. Be a hustler and follow up. Sustain the relationships you make.
