The drawing is made with a sharp #2 pencil.Rule #1 The drawing is made with a sharp #2 pencil.
Rule #2 The size of the drawing is proportional to the way it appears in the field of view.
Rule #3 The magnification and /or the diameter of the field of view is printed just below the circle.

Laboratory Activity Scientific Drawing. This is not an art class… But you can learn to make a scientific drawing by learning two things. But you can learn.
Melon’s Fantastic Perspective Power-Point Linear perspective is based on the way the human eye sees the world—objects which are closer appear larger,
Graphing. VARIABLES & DATA TABLES w In an experiment there are 2 types of variables INDEPENDENT VARIABLES & DEPENDANT VARIABLES.
LEARN ABOUT LINEAR PERSPECTIVE.
Specimens are measured in microns (µm)! 1 millimeter = 1000 microns (micro meters) If this caterpillar is 20mm long, how many microns is it? (20mm)(1000)
Rules for Lab Drawings. Use white, unlined paper. Always use a pencil and erase all changed work. Never use ink.
