3 » 65 nursing homes – 4400 beds; Private » Daily Fees - $107 per day, April 2014 - $113; » Monthly personal allowance $108 per month; » Hours of care per hour 3.1 per resident; » Approximately 800 residents (full pay). » Special care homes 430 (Private); » Comfort all allowance $135 per month; » $75.50 government Subsidy; » Prescription Drugs – Low Income ($500)

4 » Nursing care selection process (Cherry Picking) » Eviction notice - 15 days for nursing home and special care; » Medication - Seniors no longer able to manage, no service available to administer; required to move where service is provided; ( special care home) » Seniors in acute hospital beds 500; (October) » Wait list 755 for nursing home;
