3. Adding frames to pictures: Select a picture. Choose the Format Menu. Hit the Drop Down arrow beside the 0pt. Select one of the sizes.

4. A black border of the chosen length will appear around the selected picture.

5. To change border color: Select the Drop Down box beside the black colored box. Be sure your picture is selected!! Choose your color. The border will change to your chosen color. Borders can also be added to TEXT BOXES using the same steps. Select the text box, then the stroke size, then the color.

6. How to add a drop shadow: Without Drop Shadow: With Drop Shadow: Text, pictures, and color blocks can have drop shadows.

7. Select the picture, text box, or object you want to add a shadow to. Click the Drop Down arrow beside the Drop Shadow box. Select the color you want the shadow to be. A shadow will then appear behind your picture, text, or object.

8. Moving items backward and forward: Sometimes an image, text box, or object will appear in front of or behind another. Text box is BEHIND the colored bar instead of in front.

9. Select the item you want to move. In this case, I want to bring the text box FORWARD, so I select it.

10. Then in the Format menu, I chose “Bring To Front” beside the Arrangement menu. This brings the text forward:

11. Colored box on top of text. You can also send objects and words back. Select the object you want to move back. Click “Send to Back” in the Arrangement menu. Ta da!

12. Add other shapes: Choose the drop down arrow beside the box in the top menu. You will see many different shapes to use. Change the color using the Format menu.

13. Always Spellcheck! Click on the Spellcheck button in the top menu.

14. You will see the following box: If the word is spelled correctly, choose ignore. Type the correct spelling here OR Choose the correct spelling here THEN Click here Continue this process until the spellcheck is complete.

15. Remember to SAVE
