2. Alan Alexander Milne(1882-1956)
A.A. Milne was an English author, best known for his books about the bear Winnie the Pooh and for various children’s poems.

3. A.A. Milne was born in Hampstead, London. His parents was Vince
Milne, who was Scottish, and
Sarah Marie Milne.

4. One of his teachers was H. G
One of his teachers was H.G. Wells, who taught at Henley House School in
Milne attended Westminster School and Trinity College, Cambridge, where he studied on a mathematics scholarship.

told tales about
Winnie the pooh to
his son –
Christopher
Robin Milne.

6. Milne named the character Winnie the Pooh after a teddy bear owned by his
son, Christopher,
who was the basis
for the character

15. In 1929 Milne sold
the rights
to the commercial
exploitation
of the image of
Winnie to U.S.
producer Steven
Slezinger.
In 1961 the rights to the character were bought from the window of
Slezinger Disney studio.

16. In the studio “Soyuzmultfilm”
Under the direction of Fyodor Khitruk was
created three cartoon in 1969, 1971, 1972.
