Alan Alexander Milne(1882-1956)
A.A. Milne was an English author, best known for his books about the bear Winnie the Pooh and for various children’s poems.

A.A. Milne was born in Hampstead, London. His parents was Vince
Milne, who was Scottish, and Sarah Marie Milne.

One of his teachers was H. G
One of his teachers was H.G. Wells, who taught at Henley House School in Milne attended Westminster School and Trinity College, Cambridge, where he studied on a mathematics scholarship.

At first Alan told tales about Winnie the pooh to his son – Christopher Robin Milne.

Milne named the character Winnie the Pooh after a teddy bear owned by his
son, Christopher, who was the basis for the character Christopher Robin.

Christopher’s toys also lent their names to most of the other characters (Tigger, Kanga, Eeyore, Piglet, Roo) except for Owl, Rabbit and Gopher (to the Disney version).

Nature of the Winnie the Pooh.
This is a naive, good-natured and modest “Bear with a small brain”. Pooh’s favorite things - writing poetry and eat honey.

Nature of Piglet. Despite the fact that he is a “Very Small Animal” of a generally timid disposition, he tries to be brave and on occasion conquers his fers.

Nature of Tigger He is very confident and has quite an ----ego, he often thinks of himself as ---being handsome. Tigger is always ---filled with great energy and optimism.

Nature of Kanga Very caring mother. She has adopted Tigger
and some time take “care” about Piglet.

attention to himself. He is a friend of Tigger.

Nature of Eeyore. He is an old gray donkey, always sad, is not waiting for anything good in life.

The first edition of the book “Winnie the Pooh and the other” was in the translation of Boris Zakhoder, publishing house “Children’s World”, 1960.

In 1929 Milne sold the rights to the commercial exploitation of the image of Winnie to U.S. producer Steven Slezinger. In 1961 the rights to the character were bought from the window of Slezinger Disney studio.

Under the direction of Fyodor Khitruk was created three cartoon in 1969, 1971, 1972.
