When you are finished, show your work to Mrs. Cuneo or Mrs. Newman; they will decide whether you are finished. 4. Childhood Where was your subject born? What was his/her childhood like? How many siblings did s/he have? Where did your subject go to school? (Did s/he go to college?) Was your subject always interested in being an artist? If s/he had another job before they became an artist, what was it? Insert a photograph of your artist as a child or adolescent (if you find one) on this slide.

5. Early Adulthood What was your subject’s early adulthood like? Did s/he get married? Did s/he have any children? If so, how many? What were their names? Where did your subject live? At what point did your subject begin to try to earn a living being an artist?

6. Career Was your subject able to support him/herself as an artist? Or…was your subject only famous after s/he died? What struggles (if any) did your artist face as s/he attempted to become a noted (famous) artist? Insert a photograph of your artist in later life on this slide.

7. Legacy When and where did your subject die? What is s/he most known for today? Insert a photograph of your artist’s grave on this slide. Note: If you can’t find a photo of his/her grave, find a photograph of a museum noted for housing his/her work instead.

8. Noted works If you are researching an artist – on this slide, insert FOUR (4) of his or her most famous pieces. If you are researching an author – on this slide, list four (4) books, poems or songs your author is noted for writing. List the YEAR the work was published List any awards the author received for the work (Pulitzer Prize, etc.)
