2 Children will usually be given Maths and Literacy homework each week. The homework is given out on a Thursday and handed back in on a Tuesday. The children may be given half-term projects to complete. In order to make the children become more independent and ready for secondary school, we will not be phoning parents to bring homework in if your child has forgotten it. Instead they will miss their break-time, to begin to understand the importance of deadlines.

3 P.E P.E kits: In one bag please, all named: (as with all items in school) Plain white T-Shirt or KMS Sports Team top, plimsolls, black/blue shorts, tracksuit for cold weather (no big logos please) trainers, spare pair of socks. No jewellery during P.E lessons. Earrings must be taken out before the lesson, only in special circumstances may plasters be used to cover the earrings. NOT Replica football kits, t-shirts with large logos, hi-top trainers, vest or strap tops. School Bags As small as possible please as cloakrooms are crowded!

4 Swimming Swimming will begin after half-term. Girls – swimming costume (no bikinis), towel, swimming hat and a letter accompanying any goggles. Boys – swimming trunks above the knee, towel, swimming hat and a letter accompanying any goggles. If no swimming hat is provided then the children will lose the privilege of the fun splash at the end.
