3 Student Understanding who they are Our engagement will follow three important paths in our Polynesian students values and mindset. Our identity Our Culture World affairs Polynesian perspective in this matter would be Our religion Understanding these 3 main aspects of our students will assist them to acknowledge the value of Academic goals and encourage them to STEP FORWARD, With support to inspire them to accept a future in University and higher learning. 7 Behavioral Management Focus Group discussion Self awareness, personality is important however disruptive behavior disarms the harmony of learning Self control plays a major role in your “self “ program Self management supports you as a student discuss how to manage yourself Be encouraged to overcome the negativity of non positive engagement. What are your boundaries as a student You are responsible for your own Action Understanding Consequence

8 Self Awareness and Self Assessment Workshop Program Details Role playing Student in class and the perspective of the teacher Students to discuss attending class and being inclusive Bullying and intimidation Students point of view towards academic success Action Pathway: Important the connection with student On Occasion a speaker will be asked to do a workshop with students Followed by group discussion to reinforce the message and how students understood what speakers message was.

9 STEP FORWARD OUTLOOK AIM to support our students be more confident and to speak up or better Engage in School Activity How to take a Leadership Mindset to assist the student in School How to Support our student take the positives in their school lives and prompt them to use school time in a proactive manner and to make this time be a successful and Achievable Goal Taking their Culture and heritage backgrounds and integrating the positives to their Academic journey, encouraging students to be and think in a positive manner.

10 STEP FORWARD OUTLOOK Activity Program Pathway Mentor and students identify their weakness and how to breakdown that barrier Group discussion about this matter followed with action and implementing a solution Role playing activity to better understand the matter Distributing roles and small tasks and selecting different persons to take the leadership role, following up issues with action. Action Plan: inspiring guest speakers Guest speakers workshops to inspire and confirm our message Organize an Event to invite positive persons to speak and engage with or students Reinforce these guests message through group discussions that reveal student focused pathways

11 How Do I be a Model Student Program Pathway Aim – Support student make good choices To identify what Barriers that are causing our student to be non contenders in school To increase the leadership awareness and qualities of students To challenge student to accept and be a positive role model in class Action Plan To introduce positive role models to our class Organize Events that exposes our students to positive atmospheres Reinforce these events with group Activity and workshops

12 We support students realize and understand How to be a Better student in class We breakdown the negatives in their journey and reinforce the positives Our goal is to challenge students to be confident and take that next level Using the Triangle Value Table we challenge our students to engage, participate and be inclusive. 1.What are you doing to be a positive role model 2.How does the school currently see you as a student 3.Am I stopping myself from being all that I can be 4.Who will Help me be a model student
