3 WP13: REGIONAL ASSESMENT FOR THE WEST-MEDITERRANEAN -Two more cruises will be performed in the Strait of Gibraltar during 2008 in order to follow the temporal evolution of inorganic carbon exchange between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean. INTERPOLATED INORGANIC CARBON FLUXES IN THE MEDITERRANEAN OUTFLOW THROUGH THE STRAIT OF GIBRALTAR

4 WP13: REGIONAL ASSESMENT FOR THE WEST-MEDITERRANEAN -The permanent Timeseries GIFT (Gibraltar Fixed Timeseries) implemented under the umbrella of CARBOOCEAN will be sampled (connection with SESAME IP) 2,51 x10 6 km² 14 km G1 G3 G2 Nitrate (  M) G1 G2 G3

5 Two more cruises will be performed in the Mediterranean Sea from the Strait of Gibraltar to the Strait of Sicily to assess the C ant in the Western Mediterranean (March and June 2008).
