Be aware of what is going on in your life and the relationships around you: Try to face up to the fact that change is a part of life that we cannot avoid. Accept your feelings about the change: It is important to be honest about how you feel, even when the feelings are difficult. Change can feel unpleasant but if you bottle up your feelings you will feel worse later. Ask yourself: How am I feeling about this change? Identify your fears: Once you recognise that you are experiencing difficult feelings, try to think through what it is that you are afraid of. Talk to someone you trust about how you feel: People who care about you will want to listen. Sharing your worries can feel like a weight being lifted from your shoulders.
