7. What is Flare System? Gas flare or flare stack is a gas combustion device used in industrial plant. It consist of a flare stack and pipes that feed gas to the stack.

Flare stack is commonly used for burning of flammable gas released by pressure relief valve during unplanned over-pressuring of plant equipment.
