4 Length Inches (in) 12 inches=1 foot (not your actual foot) – You use inches to measure small objects.

5 Length Feet (ft) and Yards (yd) 3 feet=1 yard – Feet are used to describe height and distance. – Yards are used to describe distance.

6 Length Miles (mi) 5,280 feet=1 mile – Longer distances (Think travel!) are measured in miles.
