2 Hypothesis Run-of-the-river hydroelectricity can substitute hydroelectricity, which has large reservoirs. The reservoir floods a large area of land. Plant and other organic matters underneath the water decompose and release a large amount of greenhouse gases. The run-of- the-river hydroelectricity requires little or no water storage.

3 Aim My aim, is to find a way of building the hydropower plant in a way that smaller reservoir is need to power the plant.

4 Aim Presently, researches are being done on how to make more powerful turbine that is more efficient and that requires little water flow to be powered. It is called Run-of-the-river Hydroelectricity. It requires only the seasonal river flow to run it.

5 Design Run-of-the-river hydroelectricity (ROR) is a kind of hydroelectric creation whereby slight or no water storage is provided. Run-of-the-river manipulation plants could whichever have no storage at all, or a manipulated number of storage, in that case the storage reservoir is denoted to as poundage.

6 Design A plant lacking poundage has no storage and is, consequently, subject to seasonal stream flows and serves as a peaking manipulation plant as a plant alongside poundage can manipulate water flow and assist whichever as a peaking or center burden manipulation plant.

8 Conclusion In my research, I want to find a better means of making the hydroelectric plant more efficient, reduce its methane emission, which is the major concern now on hydropower plants. Right now people are looking forward to finding better energy source that can be used in the future. With all this problems of hydropower plant solved, I think it will be one best or even the best energy source in the future.
