They have enjoyed so much success it is difficult to think of them not being there in the limelight of all the award ceremonies that honor the best artists in the country music field. That’s why they are the best and they have proved it over and over again through winning over 150 country music awards.

10 Topic/Subject of Non-Fiction Articles (Continued) Saying goodbye to a career that is more than thirty years old can’t be easy. Beginning as a family affair and working their way to the top only made them better as did playing at the Bowery in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, during the summers from 1973 to 1979.

11 Topic/Subject of Non-Fiction Articles (Continued) The club atmosphere of the Bowery and other clubs helped them to formulate the kind of versatility that kept their concerts fresh and appealing to all ages and propelled them to hit it big in 1980. Their number one priority has been their fans, and they further proved this by extending the concert tour that was supposed to end last November 22 to June 2004.

12 Topic/Subject of Non-Fiction Articles (Continued) Extending the tour has postponed the bittersweet ending of a group that has paved the way for so many others to obtain success as well. Now with only a few weeks left until the scheduled end of the farewell tour, time is running out for those who’ve never witnessed one of the best groups in the country music field.
