The UAE is a country, consisting of seven smaller ‘emirates’ which are similar to states. Dubai and Abu Dhabi are 2 of those 7 states. The seven states are: Abu Dhabi. Dubai. Sharjah. Ajman. Fujairah. Ras al Khaimah. Umm al Qaiwain.
