5.  The UAE consists of 7 Emirates  The Emirates are Abu Dhabi (capital), Dubai, Ajman, Sharjah, Fujairah, Umm Al-Qaiwain, and Ras Al-Khaimah Political Map of the U.A.E

6.  The UAE formed in 1971, it is 42 years old only.  7 independent States came together and decided to form one strong country.  Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan came up with this idea and became the founder and president.
