7  The PA curriculum has been approved by DHS in the format you received it  You MAY NOT change or alter any of the content of the material  You MAY develop a powerpoint or other visual aids (like Prezi) using the trainer and participant guides

8  Parent Aware core trainings will run as scheduled with one or more participants registered through Child Care Aware.

9 School Readiness, Head Start and Accredited programs throughout the state can now participate in Parent Aware through the Accelerated Pathways to Ratings (APR) pathway. Non-Accredited, Licensed Child Care programs (centers and family child care) can participate in Parent Aware through the Fully-Rated Pathway beginning the year their county opens.

12  The latest, high-quality training opportunities that empower professionals to lead Parent Aware, Core Competencies and Child Development Associate Credential-accepted trainings.  Marketing, coordination of training events (venue, registration, certificates, etc.) and assessments.

13  Trainers will be hired as independent contractors as local training demand allows and based on their:  Individual qualifications,  Approved trainer status (as determined by the Minnesota Center for Professional Development) and  Experience with underserved communities.

14 Child Care Aware Training Professionals are-  Responsible for handouts  Responsible for technology  Because this is a DHS mandate we will cover participant manuals for PA trainings only!
