3. Eastbrook Middle A Title I School Title I funding is federal money given to school districts based on the number of low-income families in each district. EMS receives Title I funding to improve academic achievement for all students. EMS involves parents in the educational process.

10. Curriculum The Common Core Georgia Performance Standards (CCGPS) form the curriculum used for English Language Arts and Math. The Georgia Performance Standards (GPS) are used as the basis for Science, Social Studies, and Connections classes.

13. School-Parent Compact The School-Parent Compact is a document that lists the responsibilities of each person in creating the highest probability of success for the student. Every year we invite you to work with us in revising it to meet our ever-changing needs. It is send home in October.

Parents and Schools as Partners Parents have the right to request opportunities for regular meetings for parents to make suggestions and to participate, as appropriate, in decisions about the education of their children. The school must respond to any such suggestions from parents as soon as practicably possible.

If you don’t have one you must come to the school and personally ask for the activation key from one of our counselors, Mr. Elakman or Mrs. Ollis.
