4 Migration Update Sites on DSF Portal – 75 Sites in Progress – 13 Sites in Queue – 7 On Hold - 20

5 Template Redesign Changes include: Resizing based on resolution (no longer fixed width) Text based left navigation More flexibility and choices for layout

6 Template Redesign We’ll be sending out at least two new concepts for feedback by the end of the month Any agencies with applications sites utilizing the agency template should contact us by June 22 to discuss options Any agencies with highly formatted pages that will be impacted by the resizing of their content pages should contact us by June 22 to discuss options

7 Template Redesign Implementation The new templates will be implemented off hours through a manual process We will be setting a schedule and working with each site’s system admin to redesign home pages and determine if there are any other special needs for the site Graphic designers are available off state contracts if you are interested in having professional assistance with your home page graphics

8 Database Breakup Currently on hold pending a database analysis by Cimbrian We have had few problems since the hardware was upgraded so we want to confirm it is still necessary

9 Streaming Video Testing continues Service Offering is still in development Evaluating Network and Firewall capacities

10 Keywords The first batch of Keywords have been reviewed They are implemented on the Portal To see a list of approved Keywords, log into the Partners area of CPI –Keywords link on the left. Submissions are still being accepted for the next batch No cutoff date has been established for the next batch

16 WebTrends Upgrade WebTrends is web analytic software Currently we are on Version 6.1c We have upgraded to Version 8.0d We have installed the upgraded WebTrends on a new server as a clean install –Webstats.si.ct.gov:7099/wrc/bin/WebTrendsReportingCenter –Version 6.1c userids and passwords work on 8.0 Profiles are currently being analyzed. –Expected to be completed shortly

18 WebTrends – Definitions Visitors – –A visit is a series of actions that begins when a visitor views their first page from the server, and ends when the visitor leaves the site or remains idle beyond the idle-time limit. –Idle time limit is 30 minutes –State of CT does not allow cookies to track visitors

19 WebTrends - Definitions Hits – –Each file requested by a visitor registers as a hit. –There can be several hits on each page. –While the volume of hits reflects the amount of server traffic, it is not an accurate reflection of the number of pages viewed.
