21 Current Operations – –Community Relations staff now in field; some with bilingual personnel –Revised Combined Comfort Station/Feeding, DRC list- Tracker #4264 –30 comfort stations, 44 canteens currently in operation –15 feeding kitchens (10 currently in operation) –161 trucks of water have been tasked for deployment –134 trucks of ice have been tasked for deployment –310,000 meals have been delivered to various sites –Providing USDA food to the Salvation Army and American Red Cross in response to missions –Registering volunteers and offers of donations –Working to match offers of goods and services with reported unmet needs –RRC is currently accepting goods. Will be able to begin distribution 8/19 –Setting up multiple staging areas for the distribution of animal products and food –Moving donated animal feed from LSA1 down to the impacted area –Code 3 mobile veterinary hospital in operation at Bartow, FL Human Services

22 Unmet Needs – –Peanut butter and jelly for Desoto County –Diapers (baby/adult) –Working to identify needs in the field Future Operations – –Monitor inventory of resources and re-supply as needed –Support efforts of disaster feeding organizations –Work with USDA regarding supplying commodities –Matching of donated goods and services with unmet needs to continue –Maintain animal assessment teams in all counties Up next – Infrastructure Human Services

28 Finance and Administration Current Issues – –Working on security for the LSA at Charlotte Airport and the Wauchula State Farmers Market. –Processed travel authorization requests and travel arrangements for people in the field. –Processing multiple purchase requsitions and purchase orders. Unmet Needs – –None at this time Future Operations – –We will be reporting at tomorrows AM briefing the costs that have been calculated by close of business today. We appreciate all state agency participation in todays conference call. We had a total of twenty nine State Financial Officers on the conference call and three Water Management Districts.
