Some definitions Gathering and reporting of news through the media Reporting, writing, editing, photographing, or broadcasting news Activity of writing for newspapers or magazines or of broadcasting news on radio or television

Role of Journalism Give fair, accurate and unbiased opinions of the events as they unfold. through investigative reporting or on the scene reporting. Eyes and ears of the citizens. Journalist interprets news as it is happening such as a news conference, public event or a court proceeding. Humor or entertain us: political cartoons, human-interest stories, commentaries, columns.
