2 Intro Hi, my name is Jannalies, now first things first. Imagine a world without Crayola products… Its not that colorful right? Ya well, we do have them so you don’t need to worry.

5 Changes Crayola has changed a lot since 1903. Like the name It used to be “ Benny and Smiths”. Now its Crayola which came from is Benny’s wife Alice comes from Craie the French word for chalk, and ola from oleaginous which means having the nature or qualities of oil.

6 How you make a crayon How To Make A Crayon They test a crayon from each group and if its not to expectations then the whole group is re- made

7 Rejected? Colors that they thought were to dull, (the color and the names) Were retired or rejected and replaced with new ones. Many names were also changed like the color peach, it was once called flesh!

8 New Names? Many of the old crayons got new names that they thought that would appeal to our generation… Does it? Tell me does razzle dazzle rose sound good to you.

9 Going Green Its 2010 and Crayola is making a solar farm! 20 acres 26000 solar panels = 15 megawatts of electricity which is 16 million crayons per year! In 2011 they are done with the project.

10 Easton Penn. At the Crayola gift shop in Easton Penn. (also where the biggest most famous factory is) There is the worlds longest crayon

11 110 years Crayola has came a long way, a crazy wild idea has became a reality! So many successful products! Who else could have pulled it off?

12 Conclusion So basically that's it right? Well now you know that the worlds largest crayon is 15 ft. high 16 in wide and in Easton, Penn. Think back of when/ what Crayola product you used and how life would be without it.
