2 Setting This book takes place in a lot of places. First the book takes place in the Old Rockford’s house& then they go home. In the house Griffen finds a card. All of the sudden the place goes to Palomino’s Emporium. Some of the parts have him in his house, but a lot of the book has him at Palomino’s Emporium. This book also takes place at present time.

3 Characters The main Character is Griffen, he’s fearless and always wants to take the challenge. He has brown hair and is in 7 th grade. His buddy is Ben, he’s also in the 7 th grade, he’s not like Griffen though. He’ll just do it to get it over with, he gets scared while Griffen goes to it. Mr. Palomino on the other hand is a cruel and sceemy man. He is a chubby guy and has chubby hands. He likes to cheat kids.

4 Plot: Conflict The problem in this story is that Griffen finds a Babe Ruth baseball card that was made while he was still on the red socks. So he went to Palomino’s Emporium to sale his card. Mr.Pal- omino only gives him $120 for it. When he put it on auction he put it up for $1,000,000 and it was actually a real card. Griffen gets mad and decides that he wants to rob Mr. Palomino and get the card back.

5 Plot: Resolution There really was no resolution. While him and some friends rob the place. An alarm goes off at the last minute. They get caught and almost go to jail, But Mr.Paliomino said that he didn’t want them to go jail. So they didn’t go to jail. The card gets sold for $947,000, it was the 2cd highest card sold in history. There was a plaque on the wall thanking all the kids and they got in the emporium.

6 Your Opinion I honestly thought this book was an alright book and I liked it, and this is a book that I don’t recommend.

7 About the Author He also made two more books to the series. He was born Oct.23,1963 in Montreal,Quebec. He has made 65 novels, he’s also the author of 39 clues series. He is 48 years old. His first book was “This Can’t be happening at Macdonald High”.

8 5 Test Questions Did the baseball card ever get sold, yes. Did they ever get out of the Old Rockford's house alive, yes. Did Griffen ever have a nick name, yes, The man with the plan. Did they ever get caught at the robbery, yes. How was Mr. Palomino’s attitude toward the kids, bad, he thought they were chumps.

9 Summary Griffen and Ben decide to stay at a house the night before it gets demolished the next day. Griffen finds a baseball card in the house, he decides to sale the card. Mr. Palomino buys it for $120 when it can be sold for $1,000,000. He wants to get revenge and wants the card back. He robs the place and at the very last minute the alarm goes off and they get caught and Mr. Palomino likes them now.
