2 What is a PDF PDF stands for Portable Document Format Created by Adobe Acrobat to maintain the fidelity of a document to its original while making it accessible on the World Wide Web. One of its great advantages is that documents prepared in nearly any application can easily be converted into PDF, making it an attractive alternative to HTML, which can alter the 'look and feel' of a document.

3 Simply Put In simple terms: a PDF is very powerful and can offer teachers an alternative way of creating their own website and use very little server space in doing so.

4 Getting Started In order to use this powerful tool there are three basic concepts you must master:  Create a WORD document using HEADINGS  Convert the WORD document into a PDF using Acrobat  Upload and link any worksheets for STAFF folder on school server
