2  Action Plan Action Plan  On May 2 nd we had our bi-annual International Day Celebration. Our local television station was present and videoing all the activities, art work, and students as they traveled from “Country to Country”. (Mexico, France, China, Germany, Russia, and Japan)  The articles and links to the recordings have not been posted at this time. Channel 10 in St. Mary’s County airs continuously throughout the year and displays the activities that they attend.

3  We each worked with our classroom neighbors during the school year to come up with activities to work on in our classrooms and grade levels. We wanted students involved with hands on activities while learning.  Students in grades 2 and 3 worked with Sue Trainor to complete songs and perform on topics related to their learning. 2 nd grade sang songs about habitats that we have around our schools. 3 rd grade sang songs about recycling.

4  The students performed the songs for parents and the students in the school. They learned the process of creating the songs discussed rhyming and beat.  Our creations we made throughout the summer were on display and gained many inquiries about what we did and gained a lot of interest.

7 France France is a country locate in Europe It has lots of different regions you can visit. You can ski the French Alps or go to the beach. Don’t forget the vineyards with all the grapes. French people love to eat cheese and bread There are lots of landmarks to see in France. Eiffel Tower, Museum, Arc de Triomphe People love the sport of biking and skiing. Bjonjour means hello and Au revior means goodbye Now you know about France!
