Rashhan Siddique 2nd semester Freshman Electrical and Computer Engineering Gained/Learned: Hands on experience This course gave me basic understanding of engineering concepts. Plans/Goals: Work with robotics teams Words of Wisdom: Put in effort in what you do and always be curious.

Michael Devine 2nd Semester Freshman Mechanical Engineering Learned basics of robotics and programming Gained experience working on an engineering team Goals: Apply knowledge to future work Words of Wisdom: Never give up an opportunity to learn something new.

Randy Brooks 2nd Semester Freshman Computer Engineering Learned about the basics of various electronics components and their applications in robotics. Goals: Eventually work with Robotics Words of Wisdom: Even if something doesn’t work the first time, don’t give up.

Robby Klasfeld ●2nd year Innovation Academy student ●Economics Major ●I learned robots are both dumb and fun ●My goal is to know more about robots a year from today ●Advice: Always ask questions

Robot Story: Couple Fight A man drives his car, the amazing Boss Machine! He picks up his girlfriend from work and drives her back home. While driving, the couple being to discuss their relationship and argue. In the midst of their argument they go through many twists and turns till they finally reach the house while continuing to argue. Once parked, he blasts Bad Romance by Lady Gaga to block out her nagging.

DID WE SUCCEED? In many ways we succeeded. -We were able to get the robot to complete the maze -We were able to make the robot play a song upon completion

DID WE FAIL? -If you consider learning, failing -Lost code -Rubber tires -Weekly robot switch -Did not win the race :(

WHAT DID WE LEARN IN ECE ADVENTURES? Curiosity fosters learning. Those who want to succeed, they will. Engineering is not just all bark, you have to bite as well.

FUTURE ADVICE Always save everything, listen to Dr. Arroyo and Dr. Schwartz, have fun, and be willing to learn.
