7 SOAR Program Differences Are: MOWRACCELDUALJOINT AGE Must be Junior or Senior in high school & 16 yrs Must be 16 yrs FUNDING GA Dept of Education 100% paid tuition and fees GSFC 100% paid tuition no fees paid HOPE (GSFAPPS) Partial paid tuition no fees paid MOWR, ACCEL, and DUAL credit hours do NOT count towards the HOPE cap Credit hours count towards HOPE BOOKS Books are responsibility of student COURSES Academic/TechnicalAcademicTechnicalAcademic/Technical CREDIT High school & college College only ATTENDANCE Full time at collegeP/T or F/T at college P/T or F/T at college P/T or F/T at college A Unit of the Technical College System of Georgia. 8 ARTICULATION Classes you take or have taken in high school can receive the same credit as classes offered at Chattahoochee Technical College. To receive articulated credit, you must make an 80 (B) or better in your high school course. To receive college credit, you must submit an application to CTC within 2 years after high school graduation. An exemption exam is required in order to receive Articulated Credit for the following articulated courses (for 2012-2013 school year).
