5. Purpose of the Bid Select a vendor(s) to provide new vehicles as needed for the state’s fleet The state is interested in standard model vehicles that would likely be in a dealer’s inventory Respondents shall provide products at a competitive price

When necessary, the state will utilize third party information to gauge cost estimates provided by the respondent and may request additional information or clarification on estimated costs provided to the state that affect the total life cycle cost of a vehicle. Truck Accessories The State of Indiana will evaluate bids for truck accessories based only on the price offered to the State, not a life cycle cost.
