Hosted by: Program buses leave Hyatt Sanctuary Cove at 7.45am sharp! arrival at Mount Cotton expected around 8.40am official welcome at 9.00am program and OH & S briefing (reminder) activities (combined and group) morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea provided buses depart Mount cotton around 3.30pm arrival back at Hyatt Sanctuary Cove at around 4.15pm conference dinner begins 7.30pm (pre dinner drinks available at 6.30pm).

Hosted by: Purpose of the Mt Cotton test day Allow delegates to witness and experience first-hand a number of activities to reinforce or challenge a number of long term held concepts in the technical field of skidding resistance.

Hosted by: Information booklet all activities are listed in the Mount Cotton information and data booklet a site map is also located on page # of the booklet if you are registered for Mount Cotton test day but have not received a booklet please report to the registration desk immediately after this session.

Hosted by: How will the activities and demonstrations work? there will be four (4) all group activities delegates will also be split up into their bus groups and shown different demonstrations in smaller groups each activity/demonstration has an activity leader, who is an experienced and respected practitioner the activity leader will run through what will happen and what you will be seeing each bus group will also have two chaperones to assist you, making sure you are in the right place at the right time!

Hosted by: Logistics DO NOT BE LATE! you have been assigned a coloured wrist band and strip on your name badge, which you should have received at registration - this indicates which group you are in for the Mount Cotton track day your chaperones will display your group colour outside the buses chaperones have a group list and will do a roll call at various stages it is important that you remain in your allocated group! DO NOT change or swap groups with anyone! (OH&S law indicates we must be able to account for you at all times)

Hosted by: Occupational health and safety issues your chaperones will show you where to safely view each activity stay in designated viewing areas only listen to and observe any local requests by the activity leader, conference committee members and Mount Cotton staff chaperones and test day staff will have two way radios – in an emergency they can contact the control centre emergency services will be onsite.

Hosted by: Personal OH&S clothing and footwear – as per checklist issued with registration (and next slide) sunscreen (provided) – use plenty, the Australian sun is harsh! stay in the shade as much as possible drink plenty of water, which will be available to all delegates at various locations toilets are available on site please DO NOT approach or touch native plants and animals – some can be very dangerous! Mount Cotton is surrounded by the beautiful Australian bush, please do not off into the bush however, you never know what is in there!
