Positive Space- is the area or space in an artwork which is occupied by the subject. Negative Space- is the space around and between the subject of an image

6 Zentangle Worksheet Look through the zentangle patterns at your desk and pick 4 patterns you like. On the side of the worksheet that says Practice, try to copy these patterns to the best of your ability. (One pattern in each blank square) Next, on the worksheet that says Make You Own come up with 4 of your own designs and draw them in the boxes. *Remember to think about positive and negative space* Last, create 3 different final sketches of a pattern you created. It can be 3 new patterns you thought of, or you can take a pattern you created and make it better.

7 Project You will be combining Origami, Printmaking, and Zentangles to create a 3D Stella Octangula artwork.
