3 Activities of Systems Council In existence for nearly 3 years Sponsor of IEEE International Systems Conference – 2007 operated at a loss – 2008 operated at a small profit (20K) – 2009 to take place 23-26 March in Vancouver, B Four meetings held this year – Louisville, Montreal, Denver, and Ft. Lauderdale

4 Activities of Systems Council Louisville – Re-grounded the Systems Council – Introduced concept and discussed format of SoS conference Montreal – Primarily an after-action review of IEEE Systems Conference – Further discussion of concept and format of new conference

5 Activities of Systems Council Denver – Developed realizable concepts for SoS conference – Voted on 6 candidate topics – Healthcare was voted strongest candidate with target of Nov 20106 candidate topics strongest candidate – Announcement that Paul Gartz would step down as President and would be replaced according to charter

6 Activities of Systems Council Ft.
