2. World of Science Science is a very broad and in-depth subject with lots of different branches like Newton's laws, gravity, physical and chemical changes and so on.

3. Newton's 1 st law Newton's first law is the same as inertia. Every object in a state of uniform motion tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external force is applied to it.

4. Newton's 2 nd law Newton's 2 nd law is the most powerful law of the three. The relationship between an object's mass, its acceleration and the applied force is F = ma. Acceleration and force are vectors in this law the direction of the force vector is the same as the direction of the acceleration vector.

5. Newton’s 3 rd law Newtons 3 rd law is probably the best known law of all. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

6. Gravity A force that is pull produced by the mass of the earth.

7. Acceleration Acceleration is an increase in velocity.

8. Resistance Resistance is an opposing force.

9. Force Force is a push or pull

10. Potential Energy Potential Energy (PE) is energy stored inside of a body or a system.

11. Kinetic Energy Kinetic Energy (KE) is energy of body caused by motion.

12. Chemical and Physical Changes Chemical changes are when 2 or more items are combined a new substance is formed. Physical changes are when 2 or more items are combined no new substance is formed.

13. Homogenous and heterogeneous mixtures Homogenous mixtures are mixtures where you cant see the different particles. Heterogeneous mixtures are when you can see the different particles.

14. Elements, compounds, and atoms Elements are pure chemical substance consisting of one type of atom. Compounds are chemical substances consisting of 2 or more types of elements. Atoms are the basic unit of matter.
