FACTS: -Alcohol was involved in 20 of 73 Navy Driving Deaths – FY 2004 - In the first 63 days of this fiscal year 26 sailors and marines were lost to traffic related accidents at this rate 152 will die this year -- 85% were E-1 to E-5 - 62% under age of 25 - 81% on weekends or holidays - 50% occurred between 2200- 0600 - 27 % were motorcycle related

8. FACTS, CONTINUED: At press time it had not been determined how many of these were alcohol related but past stats indicate that at least 1/3 to possibly ½ had alcohol involvement.
