The main goal of the website was to make literature and other material ( audio/video etc.) available to the world and easily searchable on the website. Resources came from unexpected sources and the website was launched on Vasant Parva, 2006. New literature in scanned/typed/re-typed formats as well as more and more audio/video files were made available on the website since early 2006 AWGP website
