Chapter Sponsored On-Site Training Classes

What are On-Site Classes?

On-Site Classes Any class offered by the NPMA in a classroom setting, including certification training, may be eligible for teaching as an on-site course, Courses can be developed and/or tailed to your Chapter’s specific needs, Course costs are decided by the Chapter, and pricing can generate revenue for the Chapter.

Please use the following two slides as a template for your presentation at NES. Advantages Classes are taught by a Subject Matter Expert (SME) or experienced instructor, Travel costs for attendees are greatly reduced, Facility costs are usually lower and controlled by the Chapter, Subject selected will be desired and applicable to your Chapter members, Optimal dates can be selected for your Chapter dynamics

Getting Started – In a Nutshell 1.Review the NPMA course catalog for available classes, 2.Send a poll to your Chapter members to determine their training needs, interests, and times that would work, 3.Identify the most desirable class for your Chapter, AND get commitments from students who will be taking the course.

Continuing the Process – In a Nutshell 4.Solicit non-members who might be interested in attending – this is a great way to get some new Chapter members! 5.Submit your completed application to HQ and select your desired training dates, 6.Make arrangements and lock-in your facility, 7.Communicate with your instructor to coordinate schedules, provide location and security information, if necessary, and 8.Take care of hosting housekeeping – snacks, seating, chapter meetings, etc.
