2. Walk in their shoes… Choose a person that was prominent during the Harlem Renaissance Research the person – have at least 10 interesting facts Find a work from that person – poem, song, etc.

3. Walk in their shoes… You will then become that person – Imitate their dress – Present a speech from their point-of-view about their life – Present a poem/song about them Speeches will begin on: – Tuesday, 11.22.11

4. Extra Credit To earn extra credit points, you may bring a souvenir relevant to your person to give out to the class. – Example: If you are Langston Hughes, you may bring pencils for everyone (he was a writer) – Example: If you are Josephine Baker, you may bring blue cupcakes (she sang the blues)
