This will be done in year 9 Unit 8: Religion and Society Based on a Study of Christianity and at Least One Other Religion (Islam) will be done in year 10 The examination for these year 9s will be on 17 th May 2011 at 1pm Topics this year are: Believing in God, Matters of life and death, Marriage and the Family and Religion and Social Responsibility.

This programme stretches the learning of students AS The ultimate aim is for students to sit their AS in Religious Studies in year 11. Again, our previous and current cohorts have done very well. We currently have 60 students in our 6 th form who are in year 12 but know how an AS looks, feels and are aware of the demands of the subject. Their maturity is amazing. In our year 13 class (A2) we have 4 year 12 students who are completing a full A’ Level a year early to ensure that they have grades banked to reassure them of their progress towards their chosen next step.
