All rights reserved. 2 Overview of Tax Fundamentals Entry-level training program for KPMG Tax professionals joining the firm from an undergraduate or graduate degree program and for new Tax Professionals joining Tax from Audit and Advisory. – Five-day, instructor led national program – New hires from FedTax, State and Local Tax (SALT), Economic and Valuation Services (EVS), and International Executive Services (IES) attend specific training for service line – Pre-work varies amongst the service lines

All rights reserved. 4 Using Simulations to Assess and Evaluate Learning Ready, Set, Go – Six mini modules incorporated throughout the week that range from 10-15 minutes – Reinforce and assess learning of Pre-work topics such as accounting method changes, research, estimated taxes, and state and local income taxes – Real time assessment – Instructors customize lecture based on classroom results Wheels Up, Inc. – One and a half day simulation that evaluates learner’s progress during the week – Combines KPMG methodology, technology, and technical training through an integrated case study – Guidance available only when necessary (Quick Reference Cards, Cube mates) – Each learner receives a unique set of review notes based on their own set of workpapers – Practice skills in a “safe environment”
