2 Who are we The Micro Charity Trust is formed by a group of young professionals from Bangalore who have been together for years. The Group was raising funds among themselves to help the needy in and around Bangalore primarily in their education for the last 10 years. The group’s charity funding till date covers from primary classes to professional post graduate courses for deserving poor candidates. In 2010, group decided to expand their charity initiative to a platform where lot of people comes with their small contributions even as small as Rs 100 to help a needy. That’s how Micro Charity Trust was born. MicroCharity Trust was formally registered in November, 2010 to expand this platform to general public. 10/13/20152

3 Our Vision Bringing the needy and donors together on a single platform Multiple Samaritans joining together to help a single needy person Donations can start as low as Rs.100 to not more than 25% of the total required amount. Which means at least 4 people are needed to help a needy. MicroCharity will identify the needy after due verification and present the case to public. Will collect the small contributions on behalf of needy and pass it to needy / Educational institutes. Do regular follow-ups with Needy / Institute and provide updates to all who contributed. Encouraging the re-payments and commitments among people who received the help through MicroCharity to help similar needy identified by MicroCharity once hey finish studies and start earning income. To build an ecosystem of needy and Good Samaritans and try to make today’s needy as tomorrow’s good Samaritans Plan to build a strong online interface to reach maximum people, both needy and donors 3

4 How We Works 4 Micro Charity Micro Charity Identifies the needy Group of people comes together with their micro contributions to help the needy. Micro Charity Collects the micro contributions through bank transfer / cheques Micro Charity pass the raised fund to needy / institutions. Does periodic reviews about the needy and progress Periodic updates about needy to all those donated. Encourage people who received help to donate back to similer people who are in need once they start earning income.
