2. 10 th Grade Advisory Registration Basic information 1 quarter class = 1 credit 1 semester class = 2 credits Most core subject classes are semester in length: Math, Science, English, & Social Studies. Most elective classes are quarter in length: Art, Business Ed., FACS, & Tech Ed. Phy-Ed & health classes are a total of 2 credits in the 9th grade year & 1 credit in grades 10-12. Exceptions: Some elective courses in the core areas & World Languages Need a total of 58 credits to graduate (see pg.7) Need a total of 16 credits per school year

3. 9th - 11th G G G Grade Requirements Math: Students need to successfully complete a minimum of 6 math credits to graduate. Please see 11 th grade registration sheet and pg. 24 for further details. Science: Students need to successfully complete a minimum of 6 science credits including Physical Science 9 or Adv. Physical Science 9, Biology or AP Biology, General Science & one Science elective. Please see 11 th grade registration sheet and pg. 8 under additional requirements.

8. Students in Band or Choir If you have a student registering for Concert Choir or Concert Band, they should register for the World History year long course # 1180 & 1182. (Unless they are registering for CIS Economics)

9. Registration Process Registration Conferences Monday January 30 from 4:30 – 8:00 p.m. –Register on-line via Skyward –16 credits plus four alternative courses

10. Registration Conferences Monday January 30 4:30 – 8:00 If any students have a 4-digit password, they will see this screen and message when they log into Student Access. They will be required to change their password before continuing. However, once they change their password, the office will no longer be able to see their password. If they do change, be certain they, and you, keep a record of the change. On registration night there will not be enough time to request an email link to reset password.
