The total number of Chinese students studying abroad has amounted to 0.39963millon by 2012. Of all the students, 25,100 are government financed and 0.3745 students are family financed. The number of government financed students increased from 7,500 in 2006 to 16,000 in 2012.This number will be up to 18,000 in 2013.
