Project Goals The Project Goals are listed in your brochure. These goals represent those identified by the Project Team, City Staff and CAC members. The goals were agreed to at the August 27, 2007 City Council Meeting.

CACs Role in Project Development The CACs primary function is to provide ideas, concerns, issues, knowledge and recommendations that might benefit the project development team. Based on impacts to the above considerations, potential solutions will be eliminated.

Considerations

Design Options North Realignment Option

Design Options South Realignment Option

Design Options Grade Separated Option n- insert photo from Taundra and move bullet points to notes.

Other Options The team discussed other options such as those listed below, but they have been eliminated. Roundabout – It was determined this option would not meet operational needs. 32 nd Street Tunnel under US101 – This option would have significant drainage issues and impacts to the Citys underground water and sewer system. US101 over 32 nd Street – Significant impacts to Nelscott businesses due to the amount of fill and embankment needed to raise US101.

Comments on Conceptual Designs At the back of your packets is a comment form. There is a space to list your likes and dislikes for each design option. We will compile your suggestions and provide this information to our project development team. Please come up and look at each of the designs.

Next CAC Meeting Our next meeting will be on November 7, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. Well be back in the Northwest Conference Room. Well discuss your comments and any decisions the design team made.
