1 Three elements of health and wellness
Environmental Mental Physical, mental and social elements are three essential to good health and wellness. Action Plan for Optimal Health and Wellness should include encouraging friends, family, and even fellow citizens with courteous gestures, promoting physical fitness esp in children at a younger age and teaching kids and adults how to become eco friendly.

2 Health and Wellness To achieve optimal health and wellness we must include and balance the six elements in society. These are : Physical, spiritual, social, intellectual, emotional and environmental. Out of these six elements, top three elements are : Physical, mental and environmental. Working on these three elements in the society would make us stronger and help us in achieving our optimum wellness to keep us progressing towards our ultimate goal.

3 The Six Elements of Health and Wellness
Physical Social Environmental Emotional Spiritual Intellectual/Mental We should be exercising at five days a week for at least twenty minutes a day and eating well balanced meals, learning more about taking care of our environment would produce the knowledge of creating a healthier environment to live in. Like taking on the physical aspect of walking through our neighborhoods picking up trash or going door to door letting our neighbors know of the benefits of conserving energy, recycling, etc. Helping to keep our environment healthy greatly reduces risk factors for dangerous and potentially deadly diseases. We should also be increase our spiritual element by becoming in tune with the earth, feeling like we are part of a bigger picture and that we are doing are part to claim a piece of it and the satisfaction of knowing that we are helping others as well. Creating a strong spiritual element helps us with adapting to life’s day to day.

4 Physical Health To achieve optimal physical health eating right, getting regular exercise, and being at your recommended body weight are the three important things to consider. Physical health is also avoiding drugs and alcohol and being free of disease and sickness It is important to start adding more physical movement each day to improve your health. A physically active lifestyle might include choices such as parking farther away from your destination, taking walking breaks while studying, or choosing to take the stairs instead of the elevators.

5 Steps to protect and enhance immune system and maintain physical health
Avoid smoking and drinking. Eat a diet high in fruits, vegetables, fibre and whole grains, and low in saturated fat. Exercise regularly to maintain a healthy weight. Get adequate sleep. Take steps to avoid infection, such as washing your hands frequently and cooking meats thoroughly. Get regular medical screening tests . Protecting and enhancing the immune systems is very important. The immune system is like a body shield against illness and disease. Some people have strong immune systems and others have a weak immune system. Our immune system protects the body from foreign substance by producing white blood cells to protect your body. Exercise can maintain a good healthy immune system.

7 Intellectual/Mental Health
Self-Esteem Your feelings about yourself, how well you meet the demands of daily life and your ability to process information are three key parts of sound mental/emotional health. Mental health is the ability to cope with the demands of daily life. It is maintaining harmonious relationships with others and having spiritual direction and purpose with one’s ethics, morals, and values.

8 Environmental Health Spending less time in our cars and in traffic is the best way to reduce exposing ourselves to most outdoor pollutants. Traveling on roads with less volume than the highways and freeways is one way to avoid the carbon monoxide, cigarette smoke and other pollutants. Bicycling is a great way to avoid sitting in stagnant pollution ridden air, it also boost your physical elements as well. ant to our surroundings; Although smoking is now banned in most offices and indoor facilities, keeping a fan going to increase ventilation in our offices and homes, keeping windows and doors open also greatly reduces risks of getting certain cancers and other respiratory illnesses such as bronchitis and asthma.
