1.  I have lived near Romsey for eleven years, it is a lovely small town with lots of shops.  I have sung in the abbey with my old school choir.  I have marched through Romsey with my Brownie pack and saluted to the Mayor.  We regularly cycle in the memorial park.

3.  Memorial park – there are regular concerts held in the bandstand.  Romsey Abbey - the Abbey is the largest parish church in Hampshire.  Romsey statue – it is a statue of Lord Palmerston who was Prime Minister for ten years,1855 to 1865.  Sir Harold Hillier gardens – it is a beautiful garden of 180 acres.  Broadlands – house and gardens.

4.  Go to the Plaza Theatre to see a play.  You can go to the Romsey Show to look around the stalls, the horse riding and many other things to see and do.  You can visit the farmers’ market in the centre of Romsey every Thursday and Sunday.  Have great fun swimming and sliding down the flumes at Romsey Rapids.  Watch Romsey Football Club in action!

5.  Romsey is 10 miles south east of Salisbury.
