3 Money we use We use money call yuan ---- 元

4 Where I Live I live in the Changchun City, the capital of Jilin Province. It locates in the north-east of China. It has the similar climate as Chicago.

5 Where I Live This is my apartment. China have 1.4 billion people, so we need lot of big apartments. And the apartments are private.

6 Where I live I play in here. We have a big fountain,at summer it will work! If we tired we can sit down and watch the fountain!

7 Where I live I always ride bicycle with my friends around here, and play soccer on the lawns. Too many cars running on the street, so riding outside on the street is seriously prohibited by mom and dad!

8 My Home--Our Living Room

9 My Home My mum enjoys drinking tea in our dinning room. In fact she likes coffee either! Tea

10 My Room I sleep separately with my dad and mom. I have my own space. It’s cool!

11 My Family My dad is a judge, and my mom is a professor of a university. This is the campus of my mom’s university. I like to play here. The Library of the university My mom works in this building. The cool place to play roller-skating.

12 My school in China In China, the elementary school always has 6 grades. So when I go back to China, I still need to stay here for 1 year.

17 Dumpling’s Origin Chinese invented dumpling about 1,800 years ago. It’s a traditional food loved by Chinese. They look like the golden ingots---yuan bao, which was used during Ming Dynasty for money.

24 My Favorite Animal The panda is the animal of the China. They like to eat bamboo.

25 Visit Panda My dad and mom had took me to Beijing at the age of my 8 years old. I saw several pandas in the zoo! They are so cute!

26 The Great Wall As the capital of China, Beijing still has the Great Wall. In ancient years it was used to defense their enemy! It still there thousands years ago. And people built this use hands and wheelbarrow!

27 The Forbidden City This is where the king lived. The palace is already 400 years old! People build this using woods, rocks and even gold!
