2 IntroductionThe person I chose for my biography is Walt Disney.I chose Walt Disney because if he didn’t make Disneyworld most families wouldn't be able to ride on the rides and visit cool sites. I also chose Walt Disney because if he didn’t create Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck etc, Most kids in the 1920’s and 1930’s and now wouldn't be watching Mickey Mouse or any other characters. Some struggles Walt Disney had to go through was he had to find a job when he moved to different places.Another struggle he had to go through was he had to find an education after he got kicked out of ninth grade.
3 Background infoWalter Elias Disney was born on December 5,1901, he died on December 15,1966.Walt’s parents raised 5 children, Herbert , Raymond,Roy,Walt and Ruth.When Walt was six years old he wanted to go to school but his mother said he was to young to make the trip to Marceline each day. Mrs.Disney was a former school teacher so she started Walts lessons at home. Ounce he got into a public school he got kicked out of ninth grade because of his bad grades and because most of hi time was spent drawing. After he got kicked out of school he joined the Red Cross and became and ambulance driver. In 1925 he got married tro Lillian Bounds they remained married for the rest of there life's
4 IMPORTANT ACCOMPLISHMENTS Some important accomplishments Walt Disney made was these full leant movies below.”Pinocchio” , “Fantasia” , “Dumbo” , “Bambi” , “Cinderella” , “Alice in wonderland” , “Peter Pan” , “Lady and the tramp” , “Sleeping beauty”, “101 Dalmatians”, “The jungle book”[1997 after his death]. In 1950 he released “Treasure island” his first full leanth movie that only included human actors. Other live action Disney movies included “Twenty thousand leagues under the sea”, “Old yeller”, “The shaggy dog” “The absent minded one of the most successful of Disney's later films. By the time of his death in1966 he had made 21 full leanth films, 493 short subjects, 47fims, 330 hours or Mickey mouse club, 7 true life adventures films, 78 half hour zoro television adventure programs and 280 other shows. Disney became popular in the 1920’s and 1930’s for creating such good characters like Mickey mouse and Donald duck. He later produced feature leanth cartoon films about wild animals in there natural surroundings, and films staring human actors.
