2 Priority Data Flow (2007-2008): CLRTAP, preliminary country scores Complete time series (at least 1990–2006) available for all requested pollutants SO2, NOx, CO, NMVOC, NH3 by 15 February 2008. Data available on time (by 15 February 2008). Data delivered with delay (after 15 February 2008). No delivery available. European datasets Air emissions data published through EEA Data Service

3 Priority Data Flow (2007-2008): NEC preliminary country scores NEC data delivered in time (by 31 December 2007) and in the format requested (NFR template). NEC data delivered in time (by 31 December 2007). NEC data delivered after 31 December 2007. No NEC data delivered. Data set not applicable to these countries

8 EEA Assessment reports: Air pollution from electricity-generating large combustion plants Applying the best available techniques in electricity- generating large combustion plants could have reduced NO x emissions by up to 59% and SO 2 by as much as 80% in the examined year (2004) Covers 70% of the emissions of NO x and SO 2 from electricity-generating large combustion plants in EU-25

12 EEA Assessment reports: Air pollution by ozone across Europe during summer 2007 Assesses air pollution by ground level ozone in Europe during the summer months on the basis of a number of benchmarks in terms of ozone concentrations and protection of human health High concentrations of ozone in Europe were lower during the summer of 2007 than any other year in the past decade However as with previous years the EU’s long term objective to protect human health was extensively exceeded in the EU and other European countries. The target value for human health protection was also exceeded in a significant part of Europe.
